"Painting the Spirit of the West"

"Your work is beautiful and reflective ... portraying a disappearing lifestyle."  B. P.

George Paliotto paints the spirit of the West in a fresh and modern style.  It is original and creative "fine art" that portrays western life in a variety of forms.  His work has an organic  artisan quality to it.  It is the craft of painting that comes through, rather than the sterile and lifeless images of this digital age.   You can see the brush strokes and feel the paint. George was influenced by the works of the great painters:  John Singer Sargent, Anders Zorn, Joaquin Sorolla, and many others.  He takes this inspiration from the masters and transforms it into his own unique creative vision.  George also pushes the edge of semi-abstract expressionism with some of his work.  It is sometimes loose and painterly and sometimes detailed.  He may leave parts of the work incomplete or ambiguous, and he may combine a realistic approach with abstract elements to convey his creative vision.  He is always growing and evolving as an artist to create captivating pieces that will inspire his collectors.

What an honor to have COWBOYS & INDIANS Magazine do an article covering my art in their August 2017 issue.
